Hello again 'blog'.

I haven't written since 2011.

I'm in southern california and want to return to NYC

I'm a middle-aged musician.

I'd have to leave my marriage, my daughter (also lives nearby) and all my comforts to return to the city I love.

I left 20 years ago.

Kiddo's grown, wife hated NY when we lived there a few years ago.

I want to play those clubs with those people...

Is there anyone out there who understands what I'm going through?
